Mr. Kurzban is an operations and finance executive with over 20 years of experience improving business performance. Mr. Kurzban is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Universe Living where he oversees asset management, property management, human resources, technology, and administration. Previously, Mr. Kurzban ran the Specialty Products Group for PennyMac Financial Services, Inc. where he launched and ran new business initiatives. Prior to PennyMac, Mr. Kurzban served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of American Realty Advisors, a $12 Billion commercial real estate firm. At American Mr. Kurzban was responsible for oversight of Accounting, IT, Human Resources, Facilities, and Operational Compliance. Prior to American, Mr. Kurzban spent 12 years with Bank of America, most recently as a Business Operations Executive covering structured finance negotiation and workouts. Earlier in his career Mr. Kurzban held senior finance and operational consulting roles with BKS Control, Inc. and Deloitte Consulting.
Mr. Kurzban earned his JD and MBA from UCLA, his BA from Duke University and is a licensed member of the California State Bar.
